Players come to our hockey camp International Ice Hockey Training Camp ICE BULLS in the Czech Republic, of course, not only to get the experience of playing hockey, but also they want to spend their free time visiting the main Czech attractions and sights. The nearest place where they want to go is the capital of the Czech Republic – Prague. The city is situated on the both banks of the majestic Vltava River with beautiful embankments and promenades.
There is where we invite our guests who come to International Ice Hockey Training Camp ICE BULLS. Rich and interesting program waits our hockey players – visiting historical sites, monuments, majestic medieval castles, bridges, cathedrals, churches and squares.
During a tour of Prague, within a few hours the children will visit the famous Charles Bridge (the oldest stone bridge in this part of Europe), the historic center of the city, with its monumental ancient complex of Prague Castle (it’s not only an architectural masterpiece and the ancient monument, but the presidential residence). They will see the ceremonial changing of the guard with musical accompaniment near the Prague Castle, the majestic Cathedral of St. Vitus, visit the famous Old Town Square and hear the chimes of the astronomical clock.
The second tour route for young hockey players may be a trip to the memorial Terezin (Theresienstadt) – a former concentration camp during World War II (60 km from Prague). At that time, it was the perfect military fortress city, got its name in honor of the Empress Maria Theresa, but unfortunately it has never got the military glory. By 1941, all the inhabitants of the town were deported by the Nazis, and the fortress became the first concentration camp. Perhaps this tour will be more interesting for the young people in older adolescents.
